Say it in your own words, in 300 words or fewer. Letters are readers' views, not the Ledger's.
Letter guidelines
- 300 words max. One letter per person every 30 days.
- Real name and town required. We verify every writer by phone or email before publishing. Your email and phone are never published.
- Keep it civil. No personal attacks, defamation, hate speech or profanity.
- Local first. Letters about Grantville and Coweta County issues are preferred.
- Editing. The Ledger may edit for length, clarity and accuracy. Publication is not guaranteed.
- Elections. Letters from candidates or campaigns, or endorsing or opposing candidates, are not accepted in the 30 days before an election.
- Publisher's note. The publisher, Evita A-Esteves, does not use letters to answer critics. Any opinion from the publisher is clearly labeled and published separately.
