Grantville water quality: 2025 CCR shows TTHM violation, city says compliance restored in October

Nov 5, 2026: Grantville’s 2025 Consumer Confidence Report says the city buys water from Coweta County and exceeded the federal MCL for total trihalomethanes because of water aging in the distribution system. The city reports flushing and system changes brought it back into compliance in October 2025.

Coweta fatal crash: pedestrian killed after SUV runs stop sign at Old Corinth and Earl North roads

Nov 5, 2026: A 39-year-old man was killed Nov. 4 in western Coweta County when an SUV ran a stop sign at Old Corinth and Earl North roads, struck him in a driveway and hit a house, Georgia State Patrol says. The driver was taken into custody; charges are pending. Identities have not been released.
